Beck Cottage is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey in the middle of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Once an area of vast iron ore mining it is now a beautiful rural retreat and has a wealth of popular destinations on it's doorstep.
Within the quaint village of Rosedale Abbey, is this stone-built barn conversion where you will find pet friendly, self catering accommodation.
The Space
The stable doors on this 19th century barn conversion opens into an inviting sitting room, where you and your loved ones can look forward to unwinding after a long day in front of the woodburning fire, boasting an unlimited supply of logs.
Fulfilling your culinary needs is a farmhouse-style kitchen, covering all the necessities to prepare an evening meal before joining the family within the dining area.
Follow the wrought ironwork staircase up to the first floor, where you will be delighted to retire to one of the two bedrooms of an evening.
Enjoy alfresco dining or BBQing within your lovely garden where you can take in the wonderful countryside views with a glass of your favourite tipple!

Oak Beck Cottages Reviews
We had such a relaxing stay at Oak Beck Cottages. The views across the fields are stunning and watching the Beltie cows each morning was a real highlight. The cottage itself was beautifully finished, cosy without feeling small, and incredibly peaceful. It felt like the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the countryside. We’ll definitely be back.
We stayed during the colder months and Oak Beck was magical. The landscape had a real sense of atmosphere, and the cottage felt warm and welcoming after long walks. Everything had been thought through, from the comfort of the space to the little details that made it feel special. If you’re looking for a quiet UK staycation, this is it.
Oak Beck Cottages is a little gem. We loved how green and open everything felt, and how private the cottage was despite being so well located. Sitting with a coffee and looking out over the fields was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, comfortable and full of charm — we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
